Buss-up-shut, a type of paratha, along with other local curries washed down with coconut water will be on the menu of Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh when he arrives in this Trinidad and Tobago capital for the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) Nov 27-29.
Orvin Sanes, director of food and beverage at the downtown Crowne Plaza, said that local talent would be on show to prepare Manmohan Singh's menu.

Indian foreign secretary Nirupama Rao told reporters on Friday that India's Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and U.S. President Barack Obama meet next week is aimed at strengthening ties between the two nations.
Rao added that the nuclear fuel reprocessing rights for India would also be a top issue at the meeting.

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh left here today on a week-long visit to the US and Trinidad and Tobago for talks with the US leadership in Washington and attend the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meet (CHOGM) at Port of Spain.
The Prime Minister, who will arrive in Washington tomorrow will have a stopover tonight in Geneva.
He will be in Washington from November 22-26 and attend CHOGM from November 27-29.

Coinciding with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's state visit to Washington, a high-level business delegation of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is in the US to push economic ties between the two countries.

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, who begins his four-day US visit tomorrow, would not stay at the historic Blair House, the designated guest house of the US President where all his state guests are traditionally known to have stayed.
Instead, Singh would be staying at the Willard Intercontinental Hotel, located three blocks away from the White House.
The decision has been taken at the request of India, those familiar with the move said.
